Refund Policy
1. Policy Overview
All fees paid online to LVIS — including but not limited to admission fees, registration fees, tuition fees, term fees, transport fees and examination fees — are strictly non-refundable. By initiating an online payment, you confirm that you have verified the student details, fee head and amount, and that you accept this policy.
Where a parent or guardian believes a refund should be considered (for example, due to a duplicate transaction or technical failure), the request must be made directly to the School administration. Each such request is reviewed individually and refund approval is at the sole discretion of the School.
2. When a Refund May Be Considered
The School may consider a refund only in the following limited situations:
- Duplicate payment: the same fee was charged more than once due to a payment-gateway or banking error.
- Failed transaction with debit: the amount was debited from your account but the School did not receive the payment confirmation, and the amount was not auto-reversed by the bank within the usual settlement window.
- Demonstrable technical error on the part of the payment gateway or the website, resulting in an incorrect amount being collected.
- Any other case explicitly approved by the School administration in writing.
Refund consideration is not available for: withdrawal after admission confirmation, change of mind, non-attendance, mid-term withdrawal, disciplinary action, or any voluntary discontinuation by the student.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request consideration of a refund, parents or guardians must reach out to the School administration directly. Requests must be made in writing — by email or in person at the school office. Verbal requests will not be processed.
Your written request should include:
- Full name of the student and class / batch.
- Parent / guardian name and contact number.
- Date of payment, transaction reference / order ID and amount paid.
- Fee head against which the payment was made.
- Clear reason for the refund request, with supporting documents (bank statement extract, payment screenshot, etc.).

5. Review & Processing Time
Once a complete request is received, the School administration will acknowledge it within 3–5 working days. Verification with the payment gateway and the bank may take additional time. If approved, the refund will typically be initiated within 15–30 working days from the date of approval. The actual credit may take further time to reflect, depending on your bank.
6. Mode of Refund
Approved refunds are processed only to the original mode of payment / original payer account. Refunds will not be issued in cash or to a third-party account. The School is not liable for delays caused by the payment gateway or the bank after the refund has been initiated.
7. Deductions & Charges
Payment-gateway charges, convenience fees, GST or other statutory levies already incurred on the original transaction are non-refundable and may be deducted from the refund amount where applicable.
8. Disputes
Any dispute regarding a refund must be raised in writing with the School administration within 30 days of the original transaction. Disputes raised after this period will generally not be entertained. The decision of the School administration on any refund matter is final and binding.
9. Changes to this Policy
The School reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time. The updated policy will be effective once posted on this website. We recommend that you review this page before initiating any online payment.
